Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

When you use NEUR, we collect: (a) Case information — descriptions, answers to follow-up questions, and details you provide about your legal matter; (b) Uploaded files — evidence documents, photos, and other files you choose to upload; (c) Account information — your name and email address; (d) Usage data— pages visited, features used, and general interaction patterns.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to: (a) generate case analysis, win probability estimates, and legal research results; (b) create filing document templates tailored to your case; (c) identify relevant statutes, case law, and judge information; (d) improve our services and user experience; and (e) communicate with you about your account.

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption. Case data saved to your account is stored in our database. Temporary case data (during a session) may also be stored in your browser's local storage. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction.

4. Data Retention

Case data associated with your account is retained until you delete it or request account deletion. Temporary session data is cleared when you close your browser. We do not retain copies of uploaded evidence files after your session ends.

5. What We Do Not Do

We do not: (a) sell your personal data to third parties; (b) use your case data for advertising purposes; (c) share your information with other users except as you explicitly direct through Case Pool consent (see Section 6); or (d) use your specific case details to train AI models.

6. Case Pool - Sharing With Attorneys

NEUR offers an optional “Case Pool” feature that lets you share a redacted summary of your matter with attorneys licensed in your state. Sharing is opt-in only.Nothing about your matter is visible to attorneys until you click an explicit consent checkbox on the “Share with attorneys” screen for that specific case. Each consent grant is logged with a timestamp, the version of the consent text you saw, and the IP/user-agent at the time of grant - used solely for audit purposes. You can revoke consent at any time before you accept an attorney's pitch; revocation removes the case from the pool and prevents new pitches.

7. What Attorneys See - Pre and Post Acceptance

Before you accept an attorney's pitch, attorneys see only the AI-generated redacted summary: issue type, region (city/state), urgency, document indicators (counts and types), opposing-party type, damages range, and a redacted facts narrative. PII removal is performed by an automated redactor that scrubs full names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, employer names, exact incident dates, and similar identifiers. Attorneys never see your name, contact information, employer, or specific incident dates pre-engagement.

When you explicitly accept an attorney's pitch, your full name and contact information (account email and any contact details on the case) are released to that single accepting attorney to enable engagement. All other attorneys' pitches are automatically declined and they do not gain identity-level access. NEUR is not party to the engagement letter you sign with the attorney.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to: (a) access the personal data we hold about you; (b) request correction of inaccurate data; (c) request deletion of your data; (d) withdraw consent for data processing, including revoking Case Pool consent at any time before identity release; and (e) export your data. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below.

9. Cookies & Local Storage

NEUR uses browser local storage to save your case progress and preferences. We use essential cookies for authentication. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice on our platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
